Kingdom Two Crowns is a cute little game that only lets you travel along the x-axis, forward and backward. The goal of the game is to create a kingdom to rule, make it prosper, and fight off the mysterious corruption invading your lands. The game has a very simple control scheme but is surprisingly in-depth in terms of mechanics and gameplay.
One of the core elements in the game is traveling to different islands and expanding your empire beyond the starting area. To do so, you need to build a ship. But, you can’t just build a ship out of nothing; you need a blueprint to follow first.
Where To Find The Ship In Kingdom Two Crowns
The boat in Kingdom Two Crowns is an integral part of the game’s exploration mechanics. Developing one island doesn’t take too long, especially the beginning island, so being able to leave early on is important for the players to stay engaged. In fact, you’ll need to explore the second island if you want to progress the main quest and destroy the portals.
The boat can be found fairly close to your initial encampment. It is a part of the background and appears as a wreckage, with the boat in multiple pieces. When you stop in front of it, you’ll see a handful of coin slots show up that will let you start the repair process.
The wreckage is quite close to your starting location. If you can’t find the boat, try looking on the other side of the map.
How To Repair & Use The Boat In Kingdom Two Crowns
In Kingdom Two Crowns, the repair process requires a fair sum of money to complete. To start the initial process, players need to spend 10 gold. This will begin a work order that pulls out the hull of the boat from the wreckage.
After the hull is properly set up, players need to collect a total of fifty-nine ship parts by paying two coins for each part. After spending two coins, the ship part will appear next to the player and can be used by workers to build the ship. Players will get all the ship parts alongside the initial hull replacement on the first island and only some on the second island. The total cost for repairing the ship is 128 gold coins.
Once you’ve finished the construction, players can drop the ship into the water by paying two more coins. Once in the water, the ship needs to be dragged to the nearby dock, which your builders will do once they’re available.
To embark on a journey, players need to pay ten coins. If you want to bring along some troops with you, you can spend coins at the wharf bell (which can be found on the dock) to summon troops from your kingdom. This will make your transition a lot easier when you disembark on the new island.
After embarking, players can choose a destination island. If you’re still on the first island, you’ll only be able to go to the second island. After selecting the desired island, the player will reach it and crash their ship. If you want to reach an island without crashing, you’ll need to destroy the portal blocking access to the port, where you can build a lighthouse.
