If the latest leaks are to be believed, the eventual Pokemon Legends 3 will be set in Sword and Shield‘s Galar region. A massive Pokemon leak is ongoing, revealing all kinds of details about upcoming games in the franchise. Fans should take leaks with a grain of salt like always and should keep in mind that plans can change, but the latest leaks seem like the real deal.

A big focus of the recent Pokemon leaks is Generation 10. The leaks claim that the Generation 10 Pokemon games will be set in a region based on southeast Asia and Indonesia, with procedurally-generated islands and a “weather” based battle gimmick. Now the leaks are spilling the beans on games coming beyond the Generation 10 games, allegedly revealing the release schedule for upcoming Pokemon games that Game Freak has in the works.

Next Pokemon Games (According to the Leaks)

• Pokemon Winds and Waves (Gen 10) – 2026
• Pokemon Winds and Waves DLC – 2027
• Pokemon Legends: Galar – 2027 or later
• Multi-Region Pokemon Remake – 2028 or later

If the leak is accurate, Pokemon Winds and Waves will release in 2026, to be followed by a DLC expansion in 2027. Then, Pokemon Legends: Galar will launch in 2027 or later, to be followed by a “multi-region” Pokemon remake in 2028 or later. The Minecraft/Animal Crossing-style Pokopia game is also expected to get DLC among all these releases. Centro Leaks also noted that Pokemon Champions was once pegged for a 2025 launch, though we now know that the game is actually coming in 2026.

As far as Pokemon Legends: Galar goes, the game is supposedly set “1,000 years in the past” and is about the creation of the first Gigantamax Poke Ball. The multi-region Pokemon remake will supposedly feature the regions based on Japan (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh) and will possibly be an MMO that lets you freely travel between them.

Official information on the future of Pokemon will come on Pokemon Day, scheduled to take place on February 27. It’s then when fans can expect the Generation 10 Pokemon games to be revealed. Once that finally happens, it will be interesting to see how closely they match the leaks. It will also be interesting to see if the leaks about other future Pokemon games turn out to be accurate. It’s possible Pokemon Day will be used to tease some of the other upcoming Pokemon projects, though fans shouldn’t hold their breath for that to happen. And as always, it’s best to keep one’s expectations in check. Even if the leaked info is 100% accurate, games can be delayed and plans can change during development.
