Solo Leveling Season 2 was a true gem, and it changed the anime industry forever. The high-octane fights were phenomenal, and fans couldn’t believe the level of animation. Currently, Solo Leveling fans are waiting for the third season, which hasn’t been announced yet. The new season will cover the arcs after Jeju Island. Due to this reason, some characters will get more time to shine. With that in mind, here are all the individuals who will play an important role in Solo Leveling Season 3.

Beru

Jinwoo’s Strongest Shadow Soldier

Beru debuted in the Jeju Island arc, where he served as the main antagonist. He was a killing machine who slaughtered several S-rank Hunters, including Goto Ryuji, effortlessly. Had Jinwoo not intervened, the ants would have destroyed Korea and then the rest of the world. After being beaten, Beru was turned into a Shadow, and he became Jinwoo’s most trusted soldier.

In season 3, Sung Jinwoo will rely on Beru’s services again. The Shadow is capable of fighting S-rank Hunters, so Jinwoo can just defer hard fights to him. In the web novel, there are many instances where Beru has short conversations with Jinwoo, which shows the Shadow’s innocent side. Hopefully, the third season will adapt these moments.

Kandiaru

The Architect Of The System

Kandiaru, better known as the Architect, is the person responsible for creating the System. He hasn’t been introduced in the anime yet, but that will change in season 3 as Sung Jinwoo will return to Cartenon Temple, which is the place where the hero obtained his powers.

Kandiaru’s role in Season 3 may be limited, but there’s no denying that he will be extremely important to the overall plot. He will reveal why Sung Jinwoo was chosen by the System even though there were thousands of individuals who were stronger than him. Meeting Kandiaru will also be pivotal for Sung Jinwoo to improve his strength and become stronger than the Monarchs and Rulers.

Cha Hae-in

Will Come Back Stronger In Season 3

Cha Hae-in is an S-rank Hunter from Korea, and she is one of the few recurring characters in Solo Leveling. Her unique style of fighting and her graceful nature won over fans’ hearts. As an S-rank Hunter, Cha Hae-in was selected to go to Jeju Island, where she had to fight the Ants. Like the rest of the party, the Hunter made a strong start and demolished the regular ants, but she couldn’t do anything against Beru. Cha Hae-in was gravely wounded and was only able to survive due to Jinwoo.

In the third season, Cha Hae-in will try to join Jinwoo’s guild. She has taken an interest in Jinwoo, and by joining the guild, she will be closer to him. It is easy to see that there is a potential romance brewing between the two. Aside from her romance with Jinwoo, Cha Hae-in’s own character will undergo more development, which is something that every fan wants.

Sung Il-Hwan

Will Make A Return In The Third Season

Sung Il-Hwan is the father of Jinwoo and Jinah. He was presumed dead, as he was stuck inside a gate for years. Sung Il-Hwan finally emerged from the dimension and straight into the United States. The Hunters Association didn’t wait long to send its agents to bring in Sung Il-Hwan for questioning, but they were forced to wait because of the language barrier.

When Hwang Dongsoo returned to the country, he questioned Il-Hwan. The S-rank Hunter soon learned that Sung Il-Hwan and Jinwoo were connected. So, he foolishly threatened Il-Hwan, leading to the latter unleashing his power. As a result, Hwang Dongsoo was gravely wounded while Il-Hwan escaped custody. Since the incident, Sung Il-Hwan has stayed out of sight, but he will get involved in the third season, where he will come face-to-face with the Monarchs.

Sung Jinwoo

The Main Hero Of The Series

For obvious reasons, the most important character in Solo Leveling Season 3 will be Sung Jinwoo. He is the main protagonist of the series. Therefore, he is bound to be the central figure in the next installment of Solo Leveling. The third season will follow Sung Jinwoo as he tries to form a separate guild.

The hero will also return to Cartenon Temple, which is where his life changed forever. In the temple, Sung Jinwoo will meet Kandiaru, the Architect of the System. The latter holds the answers to some of the biggest mysteries in the series. However, Jinwoo will have to face a stern test before he can learn the truth about the System. Aside from uncovering secrets, Jinwoo will also gain new powers in the third season. He already has a powerful Shadow in Beru, but there’s no way he will stop there.
