Rummaging through the Rust Belt, looking for materials, is not as easy as it seems. With the loot in ARC Raiders being randomized, it takes time for players to find what they need. Cooling Fans are one of the components needed to finish the Expedition Project, so players will need at least five to complete it.

In this guide, there’s helpful information on the best zones to scavenge for Cooling Fan and other Electronics components that players might find in the process. Take a look at the most likely locations where this precious resource might appear in ARC Raiders.

Cooling Fan Location in ARC Raiders

Cooling Fan, like every other material and resource appears in certain containers, but specifically, those located in locations marked in the areas of Technology and Electronics. Here’s an example:

The Power Generation Complex is located in the Dam Battlegrounds map, and it counts as an Industrial and Electronics Area. Inside it, there are various containers and machinery that players can pry open to get Electronics components (especially inside the operations room). Once they do so, there’s a chance Cooling Fan is among those components.

Players can also visit other similar areas, like the Control Tower, located southeast of the Power Generation complex, and the Research and Administration not far from there.

Players can also try their luck visiting other Maps like the Blue Gates and the Spaceport to find similar lootable zones, as long as they remember to look for the Electronics and Technological marking on said zones. Here’s a detailed summary of areas where Cooling Fans can be found in those maps:

• The Blue Gate – Ancient Fort, Pilgrim’s Peak, Reinforced Reception
• Buried City – Space Travel, Research Station
• Spaceport – Control Tower, Launch Towers, Arrival Building, Departure Building, South Trench Tower, North Trench Tower

As players might have guessed, the Spaceport is the ideal location to farm Cooling Fans, though due to its secluded extraction points, it can become a bit troublesome to bring the loot back to Speranza.
