One of the most popular ongoing mystery light novel series is finally getting an anime adaptation, after it was first teased nearly a decade ago. While light novels don’t have the same popularity in the West as they do in Japan, the novel/manga hybrids often receive full comic or anime adaptations somewhere down the line. In the case of En Mikami and Hagu Koshijima’s The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore, a live-action film and subsequent drama series have already helped to earn the work more fans, and now, even more people around the world will get the chance to dive into Shioriko and Daisuke’s peculiar story in a whole new way.
Beginning publication in 2011, The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore follows Shioriko Shinokawa, a shy girl with a love for books and a knack for solving mysteries. On the other hand, Daisuke Gora grew up without reading books at all because of a curious phobia that makes him dizzy when he sees the text on the page. One day, Daisuke brings the complete, autographed works of the famed Japanese author Natsume Soseki to Shioriko’s bookstore, which kicks off the duo’s unlikely adventures. No matter how difficult a mystery may seem, they always get the answers eventually, largely thanks to Shioriko’s uncanny power of deduction.

The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore Finally Gets an Anime Adaptation After Fans Wait a Decade
In February 2017, an anime adaptation was announced alongside the series’ live-action film, but afterward, fans were met with radio silence. This week, the nearly decade-long wait came to an end, with Kadokawa announcing that The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore would finally get an anime series sometime in 2027. This exciting news came with a teaser trailer, along with the main cast and lead staff working on the project. CloverWorks (Spy x Family, My Dress-Up Darling) is producing the show, with Mamoru Kanbe (Elfen Lied, The Promised Neverland) set to direct. Character design and chief animation direction will be handled by Jun Nakai (Silver Spoon, NieR: Automata Ver 1.1a). Shioriko will be voiced by Riko Akechi (Makiko, Liar Game), while Daisuke will be voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi (Einar, Vinland Saga).
Past adaptations of En Mikami’s works have been incredibly well-received, with both the live-action drama and film featuring major Japanese stars. The drama series, which aired on Fuji TV in 2013, starred Ayame Goriki as Shioriko, with the actress, singer, and model also known for her work in the Black Butler film released in 2014, where she played Earl Kiyohara Genpou. Daisuke was played by Akira, a popular member of the J-pop group Exile. The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore film hit theaters in Japan in 2017 and starred Haru Kuroki (Ayame Minamikujo, Silver Spoon) and Shuhei Nomura (Taichi Mashima, Chihayafuru).
A manga adaptation of The Case Files of Biblia Bookstore ran from 2012 until 2014, serialized in the magazine Altima Ace and compiled into six volumes. Two more adaptations followed, with the second appearing in Good! Afternoon magazine and the third hitting the pages of Young Ace starting in 2024. This is ongoing, and while it has not yet been translated into English, the potential popularity of the upcoming anime series may change that fact.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
