My Hero Academia’s manga ended in 2024, and shortly after the conclusion of the story by Horikoshi, the anime followed suit in 2025 with Season 8. While the franchise’s main anime is over, new and exciting projects are on the way.

In celebration of MHA’s 10th Anniversary which is next year, Jump Festa 2026 officially announced today that big projects are coming for the series. 4 projects are in store for the fans of My Hero Academia, out of which two have already been confirmed, and two remain under wraps at the moment. Nevertheless, fans are excited, and can’t wait for what 2026 holds in store for them.

During Jump Festa 2026, absolutely massive news for MHA was revealed, and it was confirmed that My Hero Academia is getting 4 new ‘Ultra’ projects in 2026.

Special Episode “More” And A Concert Have Been Announced

Out of the four projects, only two have officially been revealed so far. My Hero Academia’s new special episode is one of them. This episode will adapt the extra chapter of the manga, My Hero Academia chapter 431. Thanks to this adaptation, fans will get to see Deku and the others 8 years after the main events of the story. It will be an exciting ride for the fans, and it will be released in May 2026.

The other confirmed project might be a bit less exciting. This project is a concert/orchestra for MHA. Luckily, however, it’s not limited to Japan, and will have international appearances as well.
