Treasure Chests in Mistfall Hunter hide in many secret spots all across the two maps, and most of them contain incredibly rare loot that you need to upgrade your camp, or to create powerful gear to rise above the rest of the Gyldhunters. Every chest has its corresponding key, and the Ritual Vault Chest is no exception to the rule.
The thing about this chest is that if you have found the key, its location can be tricky to spot. On the other hand, if you stumble with the chest by mere chance, it is highly possible that you don’t have the key. How to Find the Ritual Vault Chest Key in Mistfall Hunter
Mistfall Hunter has a random drop system, like many extraction looters, but there’s a general rule that indicates that certain loot drops in either of the two maps in the game. In the case of the Ritual Vault Chest Key, it will drop from the Brandgarde map on both Normal and Apocalypse difficulties.
This elusive key of Excellent Quality will unlock a chest containing valuable zone loot, gear of Excellent grade or better, Legendary materials, and even Artifacts (if players are lucky enough).
There are two specific spots where this key drops more often; the first is in the Torture Chamber, a POI just north of the Main Hall, but hidden away through a series of passages. The issue there is it’s filled with Corroded enemies: Elite Corroded Priestesses are the most annoying, since they can attack you violently without warning, and it’s an enclosed space where it’s quite hard to dodge their attacks.
Dodging their torch cane is a must, because it will also apply the Burning condition, and you don’t want to be burning inside this POI and surrounded by corroded enemies.
Looting the vases and chests in the area, and also the corpses of fallen Gyldhunters (those glowing in blue, not the player’s corpses) will also provide a high chance to secure a Key for the Ritual Vault Chest.
The other zone where this key is most likely to drop is around the Heroe’s Rest and the Graveyard. Looting the graves and fallen corpses there might yield valuable loot alongside a chance to get this Key.
Of course, if everything fails, players can always secure a key through the Auction House, though these are extremely expensive.
Ritual Vault Chest Location in Mistfall Hunter
The chest for the Ritual Vault is located down below the southern staircase leading to the upper floor of the Ritual Vault. Players will find the chest tucked in a corner and guarded by various enemies (and perhaps even an Elite enemy). You will recognize the spot because there’s an altar with lit candles behind the chest.
Now, players can use the Ritual Vault key, and it will have certain uses before it breaks, so players need to be aware of not only the quality (color) but also of its remaining uses. These uses are determined by certain clues in the name of the Key:
- Sacred Key: 18 uses
- Exquisite Key: 14 uses
- Fine Key: 10 uses
- Worn Key: 6 uses
- Damaged Key: 2 uses
When a key reaches 0 uses, it disappears. So, pay attention to avoid breaking it completely. Players can carry up to 4 keys in their Worn Keychain, but the maximum value of the keys they can carry is 3500 Gyldenblod. To increase that capacity, they should purchase a Keychain Repair Kit from the secret shop.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher.
