Solo Leveling is one of the most successful modern anime and manhwa series, but it certainly is not the longest. The series wrapped up 5 years ago, and its spin-off Ragnarok, concluded in 2025. Now, the author of Solo Leveling, Chugong, appears to be setting up a new journey for Sung Jinwoo Woo, which fans would absolutely love to see. This new journey will ensure Solo Leveling builds on its already huge popularity and leaves a far bigger impression on the fans.
Best Manhwa Like Solo Leveling You Should Read
Solo Leveling presents awesome fights, sensational developments, and incredible characters. Here are similar manhwa that embody these narratives.
What Ragnarok’s Parallel Universe Means For Sung Jinwoo
When Solo Leveling: Ragnarok was going on, most fans assumed it to be a direct continuation of the story, despite it being from a different author completely. However, Chugong’s interview in 2025 went on to confirm that Solo Leveling Ragnarok is not a direct sequel. He considers it to be a spin-off set in a parallel universe, meaning the original journey of Sung Jinwoo ended with the main Solo Leveling web novel and manhwa series.
This also means characters like Sung Suho might not even exist in the real Solo Leveling universe, and that gives Chugong a brilliant opportunity to expand upon this universe even further and continue the adventures of Sung Jinwoo.
How Author Chugong Can Return With A True Sequel Story
Chugong returning with Solo Leveling continuation isn’t just a fan’s wish. In fact, the author himself teased that someday, he might want to delve into a Solo Leveling continuation himself and give the fans the true version of events that happened after the original story wrapped up. This means that, at the very least, there is a huge chance for Solo Leveling to continue and for Sung Jinwoo to go on another adventure in the future. This time, the story itself will be written by none other than the original author, which is something that all fans would absolutely love.
Of course, I’m also considering the possibility of writing a sequel myself. — Chugong, Solo Leveling Author
Solo Leveling’s return would mean fans will get to see stronger enemies for Sung Jinwoo to face. Most importantly, it will give them a chance to see Jinwoo continue to level up and become stronger than ever before. At the same time, some of the biggest criticisms of the original series could also be addressed in this continuation, such as giving side characters bigger roles.
Why The Series’ Popularity Improves The Chances Of A Continuation
At this point, it is impossible to deny the fact that Solo Leveling is one of the most popular series out there. The success of the first two anime seasons has been remarkable, and it is only going to grow as the series continues further, be it through movies or TV anime.

With Solo Leveling’s popularity exploding, it makes sense as to why Chugong wants to continue writing this series. This is the perfect opportunity to capitalize on a growing story and, at the same time, right the wrongs that he might have made in the past. There are also many plot points that Chugong would want to tie together after the Monarch War, and this new adventure would let him do just that.

The Next Challenge For The Shadow Monarch
The biggest concern with the Solo Leveling potential continuation would be the challenge faced by Sung Jinwoo. As is quite clear, Jinwoo is the absolute strongest at the end of the original series. There isn’t anyone strong enough to stand in his path, and even the Itarim were not able to stop him, as seen in Ragnarok. As such, it will be very difficult to write a compelling spin-off where Jinwo can actually be threatened by someone else. But, at the end of the day, the author has full creative control over his world and he can easily bring bigger challenges for the Shadow Monarch.
It is also possible that Chugong will explore a sequel similar to Ragnarok, where, instead of Jinwoo, his child is the protagonist. Given that these stories are set in alternate universes, instead of Suho, fans might get a completely different child of Jinwoo. Needless to say, most fans would prefer the story continue with Sung Jinwop, because they have already come to love him a lot and the other characters that exist in the world as well. In either case, Solo Leveling’s growing popularity means that the series might well continue, and given that the author has also shown interest in this idea, the next few years are going to be incredibly exciting for the fans.
Both Seasons of Solo Leveling are available to watch on Crunchyroll.

PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
